Along with a substantial repertory of functions, one of the key benefits of FST is its extremely simple and timesaving setup. Already a few seconds after engaging the end positions can be adjusted, whereupon the system is ready for operation. Connected limit switches, light barriers, sensing edges, wicket door switches, etc. are detected automatically and do not require an extra setup. All this keeps your setup costs at an absolute minimum. 

All functions and paramameters of the system can easily be adjusted using the integrated functions menu. A rotation switch in combination with a digital display allows comfortable and quick adjustment. The menu is intuitional and modular. It automatically adapts to the components connected. During operation the display constantly gives information about the current system status. Among other things this greatly faciliates fault clearance. 

Moreover FST is equipped with a frequency converter (0.75/1.5 kW), which enhances the range of its features. One of these features is the soft start/stop capability, which involves a reduction of noise development as well as low-wear drive operation. The first aspect improves the working conditions at your site. The second point increases the life cycle of your motor and reduces maintenance costs. An additional feature of the frequency converter is the possibility to separately adjust opening and closing velocity. With this feature you can accurately adapt the speed of your gates to your needs. This helps to avoid latencies and cutst back on your energy costs. 

In the matters of safety FST is also ready to set standards. Conforming to EN 12453 und EN 61508, it provides all state of the art safety functions and more. This includes an integrated brake rectifier, whose seperate purchase is spare when using WST-18-FU.
